AcouSort
AcouSort is an innovative technology company specializing in automated biological sample preparation products and solutions for life science researchers and companies. In the AcouSome project, AcouSome is responsible for the project coordination and for all the activities related to plasma separation and exosome trapping.
In these videos, Pelle Ohlsson (project coordinator) and Torsten Freltoft explain what are the goals of the AcouSome project and what is AcouSort’s vision for the future of diagnostics.
Lund University
Lund University is the largest institution of research and higher education in Sweden which focuses heavy on the research with overs 3500 active researchers. The University has participated in over 1000 EU-related projects over the years. In the AcouSome project, Lund University is responsible for the design and development of the acoustic trapping units and for the evaluation of their performances.

DTU – Technical University of Denmark
DTU is the Technical University of Denmark. With its international elite research and study programms, its large experimental facilities and interdisciplinary research environments, DTU is working towards the resolution of global challenges formulated in the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
In the AcouSome project, DTU is responsible for the thin film actuation and the development of the numerical models for designing, optimizing and characterizing the acoustofluidic devices for the separation and trapping of exosomes.

Day One
